[Installation Notes]
In order to ensure the normal operation of the nitrogen gas spring, the gas spring must be fixed on the mold or machine.
Do not use the screw hole on the top of the piston rod. This hole is mainly used for product maintenance.
Do not allow the nitrogen gas spring to travel freely after being compressed, which may easily cause internal damage to the product or cause safety hazards.
When installing the nitrogen gas spring, the piston movement direction should be parallel to the compression direction.
Ensure that the contact surface on the top of the piston rod is fully fitted during movement and has sufficient hardness.
The nitrogen gas spring cannot withstand unbalanced load.
Protect the piston rod from any mechanical scratches.
In the process of transportation, installation, and maintenance of the gas spring filled with gas pressure, the piston rod should be avoided to point to the direction of people to avoid danger
[Stroke Length]
In normal use, we recommend not to use the full stroke. This is to prevent the nitrogen gas spring from overloading the stroke surface during mold replacement or emergencies. We recommend leaving 5mm or 10% of the nominal stroke not to be used.
[Maximum inflation pressure]
For various types of nitrogen gas springs, the maximum inflation pressure at 20°C is introduced, and it cannot be exceeded, otherwise it will bring safety hazards.
[Operating temperature]
If the recommended operating temperature of the nitrogen gas spring is not strictly followed, it will reduce the service life of the gas spring or bring safety hazards; the use of liquid lubricant on the piston rod may cause safety hazards; please do not wipe off the original on the piston rod for new products. There is grease.
[Recommended maximum number of strokes per minute]
This parameter is introduced in the catalog, the lower limit is selected for long strokes, and the upper limit is suitable for short strokes.
[Maximum speed of plunger rod]
This parameter should not be exceeded, otherwise it will bring safety hazards.
[Life span]
If the stroke length is less than 50mm, the service life of the nitrogen gas spring is about 1 million times or more.
If the stroke length is greater than 50mm, the nitrogen spring will be calculated as the running-in length, which will be greater than 100000 stroke meters (the running-in length is calculated by multiplying the actual stroke by 2 and multiplying the number of strokes)
We recommend that the nitrogen gas spring needs to be replaced after 10 years of use, or more than 2 million times of use.
[other instructions]
Do not perform grinding and welding operations near the nitrogen gas spring.
Do not drill holes in the piston rod, spring cylinder or upper stop ring.
Do not saw off or machine the head of the piston rod to reduce the stroke.
Do not allow the two gas spring piston rods to collide with each other (small scratches on the piston rod may cause pressure loss).
The pressure of the nitrogen gas spring should not be higher than the pressure value specified on the cylinder
Do not inflate the nitrogen spring with gas other than nitrogen, otherwise it will cause personal danger.
Avoid direct contact with the lubricant or cleaning agent on the mold, and leave enough drainage space in the nitrogen spring installation hole to protect the nitrogen spring.
[Maintenance of nitrogen gas spring]
Note: Only specially trained personnel and knowledge of nitrogen gas springs can perform maintenance. Otherwise, if errors occur during assembly and charging, it will cause safety problems or affect the service life of the gas springs. In order to achieve the most satisfactory results and the safest application of nitrogen gas springs, customers must fulfill the requirements in the "Instructions for the Use of Nitrogen Gas Springs", otherwise the consequences will be borne by the customer.
